the Reset Retreat

On this shorter retreat we will reset our body and mind. We meditate in the morning and do soft yoga in the late afternoon. We will follow a vegetarian keto diet to loose some extra kilo's, detox from sugar and gain more energy.

About the event

Marije, Jagadish and our chef Ed will join forces again in Vidovina. This time for a shorter meditation retreat.

Do you ever feel low energy without a reason? You try to get enough sleep, eat right and exercise yet don’t see the results on your mind and body that a relatively healthy lifestyle should get you? In our increasingly toxic environment, it’s useful to have techniques to reduce the negative effects of our stressful lives. During this week you will learn to reset your mind and body through silence, meditation, and clean eating using the vegetarian ketogenic diet.

About the event

Jagadish starts the day with Energization Exercises, a series of movements developed by Paramhansa Yogananda designed to stimulate life force. We then follow with a guided seated practice. If you have not mediated before, please don’t be alarmed. The way we approach mediation is very comfortable and full of joy.

To finish the day off, Marije offers a selection of gentle yoga disciplines such as Pranayama and Yin Yoga.

In the evening Jagadish will lead an optional Yoga Nidra.

Full retreat price is for 6 days (5 nights), including accommodation, food and drinks, airport pick-up Bologna Airport, one morning and one evening class per day.

This retreat primes the body for ketosis, a process where the primary fuel for bodily functions is stored fat instead of consumed sugar from constant eating.

Our talented chef, Ed, has designed a menu high in nutrition and low on sugars and carbs. Food will be available from 12.00 – 20.00, giving the body a minimum 16-hour daily window of not eating. Depending on your goals, you will adjust this non-eating window. We will be there to consult with you along the way!

You will learn how to look at nutrition totally differently by the end of the retreat, especially if you find losing weight challenging or have issues with digestion and inflammation.

Getting there

Fly to Bologna Airport and we will pick you up from there. Arrival time doesn't matter, the real program starts the next day.

From Holland you can fly KLM from Amsterdam, or RyanAir or Transavia from Eindhoven.
