About the event

Yoga Retreat la Dolce Vita is designed to enjoy all that Italy has to offer. A daily yoga practice, delicious vega food and a trip to Bologna!

€ 899,- per week (shared bedrooms)

Full retreat price is for 8 days (7 nights), including accommodation, food and drinks, airport pick-up from Bologna Airport, yoga classes.

Yoga

We'll start every morning with a active yoga class by Marije. Marije's classes are precise and personal. She likes to help everyone where ever needed and adjusts people to better their alignment. Her classes are technical, so expect to learn a thing or two about your body. With these classes we will work on flexibility but also on strength.

Occasionally we will do an evening class as well, those will be passive yin yoga classes with a strong meditative aspect. If we are not doing a class in the evening, you'll probably be strolling around in Bologna, or hiking around the house.

Marije teaches regularly at several studios in Amsterdam and has taught the Anatomy Module at Movements Yoga’s Teacher Training.

All levels of yoga practitioners are welcome to this retreat.

Food

Juutlovesfood will be our chef on this retreat! Jutri and her sister Maartje make such beautiful plates. And you know what, there are delicious too! Expect healthy, colorful vegetarian food (vegan option is possible of course!)

They will prepare you breakfast, lunch, snacks, fruit and dinner. All you have to do is to led yourself be served! If you really do not like something or if you are allergic to something, please let me know up front.

Included in the price are non-alcoholic drinks. If you wish to drink a glass of wine in the evening, then you are more then welcome to bring your own.

Activities

We will take you on two trips. One is close to home. We will leave at the house for a hike around the neighborhood. We will cross over the Gypsum Vein of the 'Vena del Gesso natural park'. From the crystal peaks we will have nice views over the Senio Valley.

On the other trip we'll take you to Bologna, where you can stroll around on your own under the portico's of this interesting city. Bologna’s nicknames neatly sum up what's so interesting about it: “La Grassa” (The Fat – that rich cuisine), “La Rossa” (The Red – for its traditional political leanings and its ochre roofs) and “La Dotta” (The Learned – its university has a good claim to being the world’s oldest).

The daily schedule is more or less as follows:

8:00 Yoga practice

10:00 Breakfast

13:00 Lunch

17:00 Yin yoga

19:30 Dinner

This schedule might change slightly from day to day. On the day that we hike or go to Bologna, we will leave right after lunch.
